Rogelio de la Rosa, DMD, is a general family dentist serving patients at Judy Mejido, DMD, PA in Miami, Florida. Dr. de la Rosa was born and raised in Cuba. He developed a passion for dentistry at an early age from watching his mother perform dental procedures. After graduating from Saint Thomas University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in chemistry, he attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he obtained his doctorate degree in 2017.
During his four years in Gainesville, Dr. de la Rosa was involved in various organizations, volunteered at multiple non-profit clinics, worked as a dental assistant, served as a teaching assistant for many subjects, and participated in multiple mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
Dr. de la Rosa has completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Postdoctoral Program in St. Petersburg through the University of Florida. During his residency, he received training in implant dentistry, oral and periodontal surgery, advanced prosthodontics, full mouth rehabilitation, endodontic therapy, and conscious sedation. He has also undergone post-graduate training through the esteemed Dawson Academy and Implant Educators.
Dr. de la Rosa’s mission is to help patients maintain optimal health by offering the highest quality of dental health care. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Florida Dental Association. In addition, he is a certified Invisalign® provider who is trained and skilled to provide patients with the smile they desire.
